Are you having trouble seeing the plaque (sticky pile of germs on your  Teeth?)   Try using a disclosing tablet.  Red-Kote is the brand name for a small red disclosing pill.  To help stain the plaque(scum) on your teeth, either dissolve the red tablet in a little water and rinse thoroughly with the red solution for at least 30 seconds, or suck on the tablet swishing your saliva over your teeth vigorously as the tablet dissolves.  Spit the solution into the sink and look in a mirror.  The plaque will stain red making it easier for you to brush it away.  Even your tongue will stain red.  Brush all the red off.  Daily removal of plaque will give you better dental health.  You can also buy this product in pill or  in solution form.    Most pharmacies carry it or if you request it they can order it and have it for you within a  day.

Another helpful tip for adults:  I've observed that most of the children in braces (or not) are not brushing long or hard enough with a soft toothbrush, while adults tend to have the opposite problem of brushing too hard.  Please relegate your hard toothbrushes for

We eagerly awaited each game the New Orleans Hornets played this season.  After the toughest few years many of us have ever been through, the winning  Hornets basketball  team is giving us a pleasant diversion to our everyday life.  History was made and a dream came true when they went to the playoffs.  Recently, Tom Benson, the Saints owner attended a playoff game with George Shinn the Hornets owner.  Here’s rooting for similar success this season with the Saints!
